    Can't install FileMaker Pro 9

      Description of the issue

      After I install FileMaker Pro 9, when I open it, I get an error message that says, "Some of the files are either damaged or have not been installed.  Please run the installer to correct the problem."
      I did that, but got the same results.  Any suggestions?  I am running Mountain Lion on a MacBook Pro.

      Steps to reproduce the problem

      Insert installation disk

      Expected result

      Be able to run application

      Actual result

      Starts to open, but error message pops up

      Exact text of any error message(s) that appear

      Some of the files are either damaged or have not been installed.  Please run the installer to correct the problem.

          Thank you for your post.

          FileMaker Pro 9 was certified under Mac OS X 10.4 and 10.5.  With that said, I was able to install and run FileMaker Pro 9.0v3 under Mac OS X 10.8.5.  If your copy of FileMaker Pro 9 requires activation, then if you are located in North America, please contact our Customer Care department at toll-free 800-325-2747 to receive a replacement license key.  If outside of North America, contact the FileMaker office nearest you.
