Cannot run FMPA from concurrent accounts on same machine

Question asked by mikek on Sep 18, 2009

Summary

Cannot run FMPA from concurrent accounts on same machine

Description of the issue

Since upgrading to Mac OSX 10.6 I have not been able to run FMPa 10.0.3 from different accounts concurrently using fast using switching. When I attempt to run the app from another account the splash screen begins to draw its window (white background) and then stalls. Activity Monitor reports CPU usage at ~99% and I must force quit to exit. I've reinstalled FMPA to no avail. System Software Overview:  System Version:    Mac OS X 10.6.1 (10B504)  Kernel Version:    Darwin 10.0.0  Boot Volume:    Macintosh HD  Boot Mode:    NormalHardware Overview:  Model Name:    MacBook Pro  Model Identifier:    MacBookPro3,1  Processor Name:    Intel Core 2 Duo  Processor Speed:    2.2 GHz  Number Of Processors:    1  Total Number Of Cores:    2  L2 Cache:    4 MB  Memory:    4 GB  Bus Speed:    800 MHzFileMaker Pro Advanced:  Version:    10.0.3  Last Modified:    9/16/09 7:38 PM  Kind:    Universal  64-Bit (Intel):    No  Get Info String:    FileMaker Pro Advanced version 10.0v3 Copyright 1984 - 2009 by FileMaker, Inc.  Location:    /Applications/FileMaker Pro 10 Advanced/FileMaker Pro Advanced.app
