I haven't seen this on my system. (Windows XP Pro, SP3, FMP 10.03 advanced)
Does this occur in all your files--even a brand new one created from scratch?
If not, does it show up in all your layouts or just a specific layout?
If it does occur in all files, if you have access to a second machine, move the file to that machine and see if anything changes.
Thank you for your post.
Like PhilModJunk, I am unable to replicate this problem.
There was a problem reported earlier with similar symptoms. That is, if a global field appears in a header, and the current record is scrolled out of view, the cursor is lost in the field, and the information does not appear until you backspace or press another key. Could this be the problem?
If not, please let me know what I can do to replicate the problem.
i have been having this problem since upgrading to Filemaker Pro 11.
Did anyone ever come up with a solution?
It makes entering data in the database a pain in the side.
Have you tried turning down your hardware acceleration ?
There was an update to XP which has caused many issues like this in Filemaker especially if you have a built in intel video card. Turning the hardware acceleration down to the first / second notch normally cures it.
