    User11784

      Summary

Cannot select the layout from Status Toolbar or View Menu if more than 255 layouts in the file

      Product

      FileMaker Pro

      Version

      13

      Operating system version

      Windows

      Description of the issue

When selecting a layout through the Status Toolbar or from the View Menu (Go To Layout Submenu) FileMaker Pro will always jump to the very last layout in the file when the following 2 conditions are met
      - more than 255 layouts in the file
      - you try to go to layout 255 or above

This is an issue in FileMaker Pro 13 Advanced and FileMaker Pro 12 Advanced.
This does not happen on Mac platform.
This does not happen on Go.
This does not happen on WebDirect.
This is not a problem when entering the layout number into the Status Toolber.
This is not a problem when choosing a layout in a script step or in the File Options.

      Steps to reproduce the problem

      Create a new file
      Go to Manage Layouts
Click duplicate Layout until you have 256 layouts
In the layout selector in Status Toolbar scroll down and choose layout 255
FileMaker will put you on layout 256
FileMaker will have a check icon next to layout 256 in the layout selector menu

If you create more layouts then FileMaker will always go to the last layout in the file as long as you choose a layout from number 255 or above

      Expected result

      Should go to layout 255

      Actual result

      Goes to layout 256

Exact text of any error message(s) that appear
