Summary

Chart truncating X-axis

Product

FileMaker Pro

Version

11.0v3

Operating system version

Mac 10.6.6

Description of the issue

Only 2048 values are plotted out of 3241.
(Edit: I removed a Y-axis scaling issue originally reported here and put it in a separate post showing how the problem could more easily be reproduced: forums.filemaker.com/posts/ff7c5f1ef9 )

Steps to reproduce the problem

PolyLine chart with two data sets
One reference table has timestamp field which together with 2 global fields function as foreign key showing 2 data sets from related table
Number of records = 3241
(Averaging in order to get smaller sets is too time-consuming for the user - need to see anomalies)
Data table has timestamp primary key, sampleID primary key, and data value
Timestamp: min = 2011-01-27 00:00; max = 2011-01-29 0:6:00
Temp1: ID = 731; min = 71.9; max = 85.0 (some null entries)
Temp2: ID = 730; min = 65.9; max = 73.4 (some null entries)

Expected result

Chart shows polylines with X-axis running from timestamp min to max

Actual result

X-axis displays from record 1 to 2048

Workaround

Downsample the reference table to skip values.  (But we lose sight of any anomalies.)
