client uses laptop to access Filemaker Pro on the terminal server via RDP

Description of the issue
Client's laptop works fine then she connects to the terminal server via RDP and things are still fine.
She opens Filemaker pro 9 and she is now unable to close or minimize her terminal server session to access her own desktop on the laptop. The only way I found is if she closes Filemaker Pro and logs off from her terminal server session.
I connect in to her laptop via our remote connection and I also have no ability.
This ruled out our original thought of it being a driver issue on her laptop.
She connected from another location using a different computer and it did the same there.

no error message, just mentinoed functions no longer work.
