      Description of the issue

      Sporadic interruptions through the day and more frequent toward the end of the day. As many as 4 times in 10 minutes after most users are gone at 6:30 pm, leaving no more than 2 users.

      Steps to reproduce the problem

      Regular operation.

      Exact text of any error message(s) that appear

      1) Communication with the host was interrupted and could not be re-established. All affected windows will be closed.

      2) FileMaker database file could not be opened. Either the host is not available, or the file is not available on that host.

      Configuration information

      Mac OS Mavericks, dedicated server, approximately 10 users on Windows 7, 2 on Mac.

      Workaround

      None.

          Thank you for your post.

          When in FileMaker Server Admin Console, is there anything in the logs that provide any information just prior to the communication being lost?

          Are all processes up and running on the server?

          Does the Admin Console show the Database Server up and running?  Web Publishing?

          Do you have a screen saver on the Server?  If so, be sure to disable it.

          Any other information you can provide may be helpful.
