Constrain drag-and-copy in FileMaker 12

FileMaker Pro

Operating system version

Mac OS X 10.6.8

Description of the issue

We have just stumbled upon the 3rd INSANE DECISION in FileMaker 12 that has just added hundreds of hours into our development time.

You can no longer constrain-drag an object with precise horizontal/vertical alignment while simultaneously copying that object. You used to be able to do this by holding down BOTH the option AND the shift key while dragging an object on a layout. But now, you can EITHER hold down the option key (to copy) OR hold down the shift key to constrain… BUT NOT BOTH.  All FileMaker developers worldwide need the ability to do both simultaneously.

This is the 3rd major thing that they removed which was in the product since version 1.0… things which do not detract from any modern FM 12 features, but simply make life difficult for all developers worldwide.
