Summary

Container field image files in expired Backups are not deleted

Product

FileMaker Server

Version

12.0.1.178

Operating system version

Mac OS X

Description of the issue

When a scheduled backup includes container field files and the schedule limits the number of copies of the backup to keep and the backup then tries to delete the expired backup/s the delete is not able to be completed due to the presence of the container files - all other files are deleted.

Steps to reproduce the problem

Database with a container field that stores images on the server and not in the database.
Create a scheduled backup with only allows for 1 copy to be kept.
Trigger the backup multiple times. The error message will appear from the 2nd time the backup is triggered. And the backup folders will remain with only the container field items left in them.

Expected result

Expired backup folders and all their contents are deleted.

Actual result

Expired backups are cleared of all files except for the data in the container field and Error     685 is reported.
