Summary

Container fields with "fill: none" cannot be dragged in Layout mode

Product

FileMaker Pro

Version

12.0v4

Operating system version

MacOS 10.8.4

Description of the issue

A container field that has the fill set to "none" cannot be dragged in the Layout mode, it can only be repositioned by using the arrow keys or entering new numerical values in the Position fields of the Inspector.

Steps to reproduce the problem

Create or paste in a container field into a layout. Set the fill to "none" – the field no longer can be dragged. Setting the fill to "solid color", "gradient" or "image" re-enables dragging.

Expected result

Container fields should be movable regardless of the fill.

Actual result

Container fields cannot be repositioned once their fill is set to "none".

Workaround

Changing the fill to value other than "none".
