Summary

Container in popup not active unless records exist in main layout

Product

FileMaker Go

Version

13.0.4

Operating system version

7.1.2

Description of the issue

I have a container within a popover window on the main page of a solution. The fields in the popover window are all global and meant to temporarily store data until the user confirms it is correct. The container and data in the other fields are transferred to a new record in the parent layout when the user hits an 'add' button.
When the parent layout does not have any records, the iOS popup to add contents to the container does not appear. If there is 1 or more records, the container functions normally.

Steps to reproduce the problem

1. Create popover button
2. Add global container field to the popover window
3. Delete all records in the layout that contains the popover button
4. In FileMaker Go, tap on the container field to import from camera

Expected result

The iOS popup for importing data into a container field should appear and the user would select 'Camera' to take a photo.

Actual result

The iOS popup window does not appear.

Exact text of any error message(s) that appear

No error message

Workaround

Add a temporary record to the parent layout when a user starts with a fresh database. Delete it when the first real record has been created.
