      Container Vertical Scrollbar - can't remove

      Operating system version

      Windows XP Professiona;

      Description of the issue

      If a text field is duplicated and a container field is selected as the new field, and if the text field has a vertical scroll bar, the Inspector will not allow the vertical scroll bar to be checked/unchecked.

      Steps to reproduce the problem

      See above

      Expected result

      Should be able to uncheck vertical scroll bar.

      Actual result

      Cannot uncheck vertical scroll bar.

      Exact text of any error message(s) that appear

          I can replicate this on my XP system and agree that it is a bug.

          The obvious work around is to respecify the field back to the text field, remove the scroll bar and then once again specify it as the container field...

            Thank you for your post.

            I can replicate the problem with FileMaker Pro 11.0v2 on both Windows XP and Mac OS X 10.6.6.  I have forwarded your post along with my findings to our Development and Software Quality Assurance (Testing) departments for review and confirmation.

            Until this is changed, one workaround is to copy down the field measurements in the Inspector, remove the field from the Layout, add the field back to the Layout, and enter the measurements into the Inspector.
