Summary

Crash when a WAV or AIFF sound clip is played in a global field in Windows

Description of the issue

My host is an Apple platform and I wanted to play a quicktime sound clip when an event ocurrs, but this sound clip can not be played from a network computer. To solve this, I have copied this sound clip in every computer, so it can be played locally in every network extension. I have created an empty global field to be filled by inserting this sound clip in every extension every time the database is opened, so its link is updated and can be played locally. In Windows, FileMaker 9 and 10 crashes everytime the sound clip is intented to be played.I have re-installed Quicktime and I have tried with WAV and AIFF sounds.I did not tried with a movie.
