I can't read the language in your log nor know what 'herstel' translates to in English, but you might try performing a recover on your file as it might be damaged.
Best practice is to never use a recovered file, but instead to replace the damaged file with an undamaged back up if this is at all possible. You may need to save a clone of a back up file and then import the data from your recovered copy in order to get things working again.
I have a Dutch version and I am never sure what the English terminology could be. In this case:
- herstel is Dutch for recover
I have tried the recover/herstel-option but that didn't work out. The last lines of my log states:
- 0 *** Consistentiecontrole van verkeerd gesloten bestand is gestart. Aantal te controleren blokken: 87690.
--> something like: consistency check of wrongly closed database has started. Numerbr of blocks to check: 87690
- 8437 FOUT: pagina 85434 - ongeldige koppeling naar vorige pagina 85433
--> something like .. invalid link to last page 85433
- 805 Consistentiecontrole is mislukt. Fout 805
--> something like: 805 consistency check failed. Fault 805
Do you know if there is some way to contact the FileMaker guys?
Recover can't always repair damage to your database. It sounds like this may be a case of that situation. Do you have a back up copy that doesn't have this problem? You may have to revert to a copy of that back up--possibly saving a clone of the backup and importing the current records from your damaged copy.
TSGal eventually responds to each post in Report an Issue, but it takes a while for her to get around to each one. You also have the option of contacting Customer Service by phone, the customer service numbers for different countries are listed on their web site.
Thank you for your post, and I apologize for the late reply.
The answers provided by PhilModJunk are correct (Thank you!).
Your first option should be to revert to an earlier backup, and then contact our Technical Support department. Please let me know if the problem is still occurring.
