Delineate fields cause behavior on trailing grand summary
Mac & Windows
If "Delineate fields on current record only" is checked for layout options, this will effect fields in the Trailing Grand Summary Section.
-1. Check off "Delineate fields on current record only"
-2. Add a Trailing Grand Summary Section
-3. If you use the Cool Gray theme, this section should fill dark and the fields should have a white background. Theme doesn't really matter though.
-4. View in Browse Mode, in a list view
-5. Current record selected will be delineated and field boarders and fills will show, however the fields in the trailing grand summary section will not have fills or boarders making them hard to read.
Trailing Grand Summary Section should not be effected by "Delineate fields on current record only". Headers and footers are not and TGS should follow.
Fields in the Trailing Grand Summary Section have boarders and fills removed. They act like fields in record rows that are not selected.
Have to create a box the same size and shape of the field and fill and stroke as you want the fields formatted, then align exactly to field and send to back.
Another workaround would be to duplicate your layout and turn off the Delineate option for the new copy of your layout. You can keep the original for data entry--where Delineate can be useful, but switch over to the new layout for printing purposes.
