      Description of the issue

On a mac (starting with 12.0v3), duplicate copies of plugins causes FM12 to crash. The duplicates  of plugins are in the Users/Libarary/application support/FileMaker/Extensions

      This doesn't happen on Windows.

Install an older plugins in Users/Libarary/application support/FileMaker/Extensions (the old spot)

Install a newer plugin with FM12v3 using the install plugin script step. (placed in Users/Libarary/application support/FileMaker/FileMaker Pro Advanced/12.0/Extensions).

      Filemaker will crash.

      Expected result

FileMaker will use the new plugin for FM12 and the old plugin for FM11.
