Summary

Dynamically Naming a PDF and sending it by e-mail (also dynamically)

Product

FileMaker Pro

Version

11

Operating system version

windows xp

Description of the issue

I want to create a pdf file, save it, name it and attach it to an email where the "to" is the "emailaddress" field of this record, and where I can include a standard subject and text as I usually do with the "send mail" (invia posta) function

I have managed to create a script to save a Record as a PDF via a script, name the resulting PDF from a field within my file and attach it to a new email. (and I feel very proud ...)How do I automatically send this email to my "emailaddress" field?

Steps to reproduce the problem

This is my script to create the email with the attached named pdf

Set Variable ("filewin:"& Get ( PercorsoDesktop )  & Fatture::ft_cognome  & ".pdf")
Save Records as PDF [Restore; No dialog; "$filePath"; Current record]

and this is where I stop ...

Expected result

solve this problem! THANK YOU!!!
