      Product

      Version

      13.0v3

      Operating system version

      OSX 10.8.5

      Description of the issue

On attempting to send an email (for the first time), procedure fails with the message, "Some of the files that are needed are either damaged or have not been installed. Please run the installer to correct this problem."
Running the installer from backup CD does not correct the problem.

      Steps to reproduce the problem

      With a record displayed:
      File > Send > Mail…
Default "Send via E-mail client" accepted. Client is Thunderbird (running); Apple Mail also available.
Enter a valid email address (my own)
      Enter short message
      OK

Error message above appears. Re-installing from backup CD gives no change.

Some of the files that are needed are either damaged or have not been installed. Please run the installer to correct this problem.

      Configuration information

Same failure with either of two different databases running, and with re-installed Filemaker 12 or current Filemaker 13. Both were downloads.
