    Error in PHP form

      Error in PHP form

      FileMaker Server

      Description of the issue

      When a web form which has worked perfectly in the past is accessed online, it shows an error message above a radio button input field.
      What would be a possible cause for this error?

      Steps to reproduce the problem

      Link to the form: http://forms.danahall.org/apply/app_int.php

      Exact text of any error message(s) that appear

      Notice: Only variable references should be returned by reference in C:\Program Files (x86)\FileMaker\FileMaker Server\Web Publishing\publishing-engine\php\FileMaker\Implementation\LayoutImpl.php on line 37

          B Dowdell:

          Thank you for your post.

          Line 37 of the LayoutImpl.php file references a field that isn't found (deleted).  If you perform a refresh, does it then work?

          Another user encountered the same issue with PHP 5.2. Change Line 37 from:

          return $Vcb5e100e = new FileMaker_Error($this->_fm, 'Field Not Found');

          $Vcb5e100e = new FileMaker_Error($this->_fm, 'Field Not Found');
          return $Vcb5e100e;

          See if that has any effect.

            Thank you for your response.  The only thing that seems to remove the error is to remove the table data coding in the form where the error occurs.  I don't have access to the file you referenced, so I have forwarded your suggestion to the server manager, in hopes that the change you noted might fix the problem.
