FileMaker and Bento are two different programs from the same company. Why are you reporting a problem with Bento in the FileMaker Report an Issue (report a bug) forum?

It appears your bento.bentodb file may be damaged. To verify, create a new user account, log in to the new user account and launch Bento. Once launched, pull down the File menu and select "New Library from Template". If you crash, then the Bento application may be damaged. Reinstall from the CD, or download a new copy. Assuming you don't crash, and you don't have a recent backup file, feel free to send in your database file. Check your Inbox at the top of this page for instructions where to send the file.
