Thanks for posting!
I think you may be right about the file path being an issue here. Try using the following script and let us know if you still run into problems.
Set Variable[$filePath;Get(DocumentsPath) & "filename.xls"]
Export Records[No Dialog; "$filePath"]
Send Mail [Send via E-mail Client ; To: "email address here"; Subject: "subject here"; Message: "message here" ; "$filePath"]
Thanks for your answer.
I tested the script and it run fine in OSX (FileMaker Pro 11). But dose not work in iOS 4.3.3 (FileMaker GO), shown the message: "Export Records" is not allowed in this device.
Seems that it is not implemented in FM GO, that is correct? can you include an new feature request?
thanks in advance
I apologize, you're completely correct. You can Save as PDF but you're unable to Export Records or Save Records as Excel. I highly recommend submitting this as a feature request here:
I would submit this for you, but it requests information that I won't be able to provide.
