      Summary

Field Names are not being generated when opening XSLX

      Product

      FileMaker Pro

      Version

      v12.0v3 Advanced,  v11.0v3 Advanced, v11.0v3, v10.0v3 Advanced

      Operating system version

      Mac OS X 10.6.8.

      Description of the issue

When opening an an excel spreadsheet (xlsx) I have specified that the first row of data should be recognised as field names. Upon opening the new database all field names are generic f1, f2, etc.

      Steps to reproduce the problem

      1. Export table from Access
      2. Open with FMPro by drag-n-drop or by File->Open...
      3. Select the worksheet to import
      4. Specify that the first row should be used as field names
      5. continue...

      Expected result

I expect to have the first row of data from the spreadsheet used as field names in the new database.

      Actual result

All fields have generic names, f1, f2, etc

      Workaround

Convert xlsx file to xls format and open the xls document.
