Thank you for your post.
I have reported the problem to our Development and Software Quality Assurance (Testing) departments for review. However, I'd like to gather a little more information. Specifically, you mentioned in your signature Mac OS X 10.6.2 (Snow Leopard). Did you also try this with Mac OS X 10.5.x (Leopard)?
Although I have not tested it yet, since I primarily installed on 10.6.2, I will do now..Since I also have a macbook running 10.5.8
I will get back to you....
The same is happening on 10.5.8 again, running under FM10 there is no issue.
To explain a little further what is happening
A dialog box is displayed with a drop down list (no problem here)
Selecting the dropdown shows all values and the current selected on with a tick (again no problem)
When attempting to select any other value, the drop down menu closes but leaves the original selected item.
It is impossible to change the value.
I also tested just tested this with 24u Simple Dialog sample files and got the same results on both counts.
Thanks for testing this out. That eliminates the possibility of it just being a Snow Leopard issue.
I have attached all of this information to the original case. I'll keep you posted as information comes in.
In the mean time, since I don't know where the cause of this problem lies, you may also want to contact Troi and see if they are familiar with this issue.
