Summary

FileMaker 11's ExecuteSQL Plug-in API no longer supports INSERT INTO SELECT

Description of the issue

A simple query like ExecuteSQL "insert into test(\"Test Field\") select \"Test Field\" from test where \"Test Field\" = 3" works on FileMaker 7 through 10 but in FileMaker 11 it returns error 8309.  Is there any hope this will be fixed in the next FileMaker 11 patch? Also, are the 8000 series errors that FileMaker returns documented anywhere? This error occurs when using the ExecuteSQL plug-in API to run SQL statements on FileMaker data and has nothing to do with the "Execute SQL" script step used to run SQL on data in other databases. The bug occurs in FIleMaker Pro Advanced 11 under Windows 7 and Snow Leopard.
