Summary

FileMaker 11.0v4 in Lion crashes when attempting to view PDF in Web Viewer

Product

FileMaker Pro

Version

11.0v4

Operating system version

Mac OS X 10.7.1

Description of the issue

When a Web Viewer attempts to load an http URL to a PDF file, FileMaker Pro crashes.

Steps to reproduce the problem

Make a brand new database. You can do this on FileMaker Pro in non-Lion Mac OS X to demonstrate that it works on a pre-Lion Mac.
Go into Layout Mode and Insert -> Web Viewer.
Set the Web Viewer's URL to an http URL to a PDF file (e.g. http://www.filemaker.com/downloads/pdf/fmp10_users_guide.pdf )
Save the Layout, then go to Browse Mode.
On a Mac running Lion and FileMaker 11.0v4, FileMaker will display a progress spinner in the Web Viewer for a brief period, then crash.
