It appears the update from Symantec changed some setting in the system that conflicts with FileMaker Pro. Try the following:
1. Deactivate FileMaker Pro 9, and then uninstall FileMaker Pro 9. Remove the FileMaker Pro 9 folder.
2. Reinstall FileMaker Pro 9.
3. Download the FileMaker Pro 9.0v3 updaters from our web site at:
4. Run the updaters (9.0v3 followed by 9.0v3 SSL Updater).
5. Launch FileMaker Pro 9. See if the problem persists.
