It would help to fill out more of the report an issue form in order to more fully document it.
If you create a small, brand new FileMaker file and use a send mail script, does it show the same issue?
Do the crashes always occur with an attached PDF or do you get crashes with no attached PDF?
thanks for your answer. I have replicated the issues using a small dedicated FM file.
The crash occurs even without attachment.
Using send via smtp the error does not occur.
In all cases mails have been delivered and the crash occurs after sending

And what email client application are you using to send the email?
I'm using Outlook 2013
Sorry for that,
any ideas ? That's really annoying and I'm afraid my solution will be corrupted, crashing so many times a day.
You can try alternative approach, which is good for simple emails. Use Open URL, and as URL set "mailto:..."
This approach does not block your filemaker window, so you can work with email and filemake together. In Outlook 2013, enable UTF8 support for mailto protocol.
Apologies that I don't have a suggested solution for you. I asked these questions so that the TS people who should be looking at your report will have all the needed info to offer a suggested solution. Sort of like a nurse prepping you for surgery and then the surgeon never appears...
Thank you for the post and I apologize for the delay.
I do not currently have Outlook 2013 available to me for testing, so if you can provide a little more information, then I will forward a report to Testing and Development. A couple of additional questions:
1. Is the installed version of Outlook 2013 32-bit or 64-bit?
2. Are any plugins being used with FileMaker Pro 12.0v4? If so, can the crash be replicated without the plugins?
3. Does the crashing continue if FileMaker Pro 12.0v4 is uninstalled and reinstalled?
I've tested this on my configuration: W8-64 with FMPA12, with 8 plugins (from dracoventions, troi, myfmbutler and 360works) + Outlook2013-64 and filemaker does not crash after sending an email from FMP.
You maybe need to reinstall as TSFalcon suggests
Thanks all for your help.
I'll be back in a few days and I will try at first to reinstall fmpro.
Windows software is unlikely not protected from new app installations.
sad to say that nothing changed after reinstlling fm pro adv 12v03 and update fmpro 12v04
still same error after sending any mail via mail client- outlook 2013 is 32bit version- base elements plugin is installed, but error occurs even if plugin is disabledFirma problema:Nome evento problema: APPCRASHNome applicazione: FileMaker Pro Advanced.exeVersione applicazione: 184.108.40.2063Timestamp applicazione: 514b6292Nome modulo con errori: olmapi32.dllVersione modulo con errori: 15.0.4517.1504Timestamp modulo con errori: 51b1d28aCodice eccezione: c0000005Offset eccezione: 0001a22fVersione SO: 6.2.9220.127.116.11.768.101ID impostazioni locali: 1040Informazioni aggiuntive 1: 5861Ulteriori informazioni 2: 5861822e1919d7c014bbb064c64908b2Ulteriori informazioni 3: f3d5Ulteriori informazioni 4: f3d5be0cad2787556264647dc02181c3
1) Try the steps mentioned below and check if it helps resolve the issue:
- Close Outlook
- Go to the location C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OfficeXX and locate OLMAPI32.DLL
- Rename it to OLMAPI32.old
- Repair Office using Add or remove programs in Control Panel.
2) Interesting discussion here: http://community.spiceworks.com/topic/357218-outlook-2010-2013-olmapi32-dll-error
3) If you can repeat the crash again, install Debugging Tools for Windows and open Filemaker exe in it. Here is installation guide. http://www.sysads.co.uk/2012/05/installing-and-configuring-windbg-windows-debug-tools%E2%80%8F/
Then you can debug Filemaker when sending email (Debug>Go [f5] until crash occurs). You get more information about the error.
crash occurs after repairing office.
I have installed debugging tools.
Only, I'm sorry but I'm not able to run fmp app from inside windbg, even consulting the guide....
