Thank you for your post.
What specific font are you installing?
Regardless, I have sent your entire post to our Development and Testing departments for review. When I receive any feedback, I will let you know.
Thank you for your quick reply.
I apologize, after having the payload profile signed I could successfully install and use a custom font, even in FileMaker Go 14.
It is worth noting that if you want to have FileMaker Go accept a new system font, the payload profile should be created through Apple's "Apple Configurator" app. This app gives an option to "sign" the profile before distribution, and this signature is what was missing in my first attempt.
On another note, I could not find an updated knowledge base article addressing this scenario. I believe it would be helpful to many if it made it into the knowledge base.
I am having a similar problem with a database I built to keep asset inventory. I have had the barcode font I am using installed on other devices and had it work with the solution successfully. Now I am working getting it working on a iPhone 7 running 10.2.1 but can not get Filemaker Go to recognize the font.
Font name is "3of9_new.ttf" has anyone had this problem? It is the same ttf file installed on my laptop where I built the solution and have used on older os ipads and iphones.
Have there been any changes to external font functionality in iOS 10 or perhaps an earlier version?
CS8 what type of signing credentials were you using? I am using an iPhone Developer signature I got from my apple ID. I am not a full developer so perhaps that is the problem? It shows up as verified with the green check when I install the profile I have created by Apple Configurator 2.
Any info would be helpful. Thanks!

I seemed to have solved my own problem. I was running Filemaker Go 13.9 which did not support the font however I could see it was installed for use on Pages. After updating Filemaker Go to v15 the font showed up in my solution as expected. There seems to be a compatibility problem with the font book in iOS 10.2 and Filemaker Go 13.9. It is unlikely this problem is related to the issue above.
My OCR-Font (something you'll miss in every default Font-libraries) works with latest FMGo Version with iOS10.3.2 beta1
We really need the ability to embed fonts (the same as you can on a website) so your GUI looks the same on all platforms. Trying to manage font sets at the user level is becoming a real hassle.
This would also make it much more reasonable to design interfaces that utilize icon fonts, which would open up all kinds of wonderful possibilities compared to the very limited button icon feature that we now have.
If I remember correctly I was using a self signed credential. I don't even have an Apple Developer ID.
