Was Bento open or closed when you attempted this import? Make sure that Bento is closed when importing from it into FileMaker.

When you select "Bento Data Source....",. FileMaker sends a message to Mac OS X to launch Bento. If you have more than one instance of Bento installed on your hard disk, then Mac OS X may open one of the unintended Bento applications, and this message will then display.
Besides having only instance of Bento is installed, make sure Bento is not launched.
You may want to consider the Bento 4 to FileMaker Pro Migration Tool, as this creates a FileMaker Pro database file based on the Bento data including the field definitions and forms. You can download the Bento 4 to FileMaker Pro Migration Tool via Knowledge Base Article #12105:
