Summary

FileMaker Pro Advanced 14 no longer offers Full Access Privilege state at a glance

Product

FileMaker Pro

Version

14.0.1

Operating system version

Mac OS X 10.10.4

Description of the issue

In the FileMaker Pro Advanced 14.0.1 Script Workspace it's not possible to see at a glance if a script is set to be performed with Full Privileges. If you look under the Scripts menu you can tell it doesn't if there is a menu item "Grant Full Access Privileges" or does if it says "Revoke Full Access Privileges" but having to check this way is cumbersome, and just seeing that status with the script is much better for error-free scripting.

Steps to reproduce the problem

Open the Script Workspace. Click on a script and you can't see whether it is granted Full Access Privileges. In FMP 13 there was a visible check-box, not in 14.

Expected result

You would hope to at least have an indicator showing the Access Privileges for the script. An incorrect setting is a common cause of problems.

Actual result

You must look under a menu and see if a menu item is present that suggests that you need to change to the state you want.

Exact text of any error message(s) that appear

None.

Workaround

Use the menu method.
