A further comment -- interestingly, when defining a script for a button and you select one, and choose "Edit" under the gear icon, the script editing box in this case DOES have a checkbox for "Run script with full access privileges" in the bottom bar, across from the Cancel and OK buttons.
It's as if adding the checkbox was accidentally omitted in the new Script Workspace arrangement, the concept does still exist.
Thank you for the post.
Another forum user requested this same feature in the following thread:
Testing and Development have reported this is part of the new Script Workspace design. This was submitted as a feature request to have this reviewed for future iterations and I added your comments to the original report.
Additionally, I would encourage you to enter this as a suggestion into our Feature Requests web form at:
These web form suggestions are monitored and read by our Development and Product Management departments and then discussed and considered for a future release. Although I could copy and paste your post into the web form, there are some questions asked that only you can answer.
Thank you, I have submitted this as well, TSFalcon.
I just noticed that there IS an indicator for scripts that have Full Access Privileges. I just didn't know what it meant. There isn't a checkbox and I think most people would still like that, but there is a better way to see of the Privileges have been granted than by looking under the Scripts menu...
I've included a screenshot. I started noticing chess pawns and wondered what they were. They indicate Full Access Privileges scripts in the script-list of the Scripts Workspace (left side) window.
