Filemaker Server Advanced Admin Console crashes when testing Email Notification settings with SSL

Description of the issue
When configuring the Email Notification settings in the Server Admin Console, the admin console crashes when testing the settings by clicking 'Test SMTP Settings'after turning on SSL and/or TLS settings. I have tried this with both Plain Text and CRAM-MD5 authentication settings. After hitting the button an Error dialog pops up that says 'Admin Server Connection Error: An unknown error has occured.' with only an 'OK' button in the dialog. When you hit this button the Admin Console crashes and dissappears.
'Admin Server Connection Error: An unknown error has occured.' Any additional configuration information/troubleshooting that is relevant to the issue: This occurred in Server 10 Advanced as well.Any workarounds that you have found: None so far.
Steps to reproduce the problem
1. Configure Email Notification Settings in Admin Console
2. Enable 'Use Secure Sockets Layer(SSL)' option. Also happens when enabling 'Use Transport Layer Security (TLS)' option.
3. Click 'Test SMTP Settings ...'
Test was successful or unsuccessful.
Admin Console gives dialog 'Admin Server Connection Error: An unknown error has occured.' Then crashes.
Exact text of any error message(s) that appear
'Admin Server Connection Error: An unknown error has occured.'
This occurred in Server 10 Advanced as well.
