Summary

FileMaker Server Side Script Not Importing Dates Correctly

Product

FileMaker Server

Version

11.0.2.217

Operating system version

Mac OS X 10.6.5

Description of the issue

CSV files containing dates in the format of DD/MM/YYYY (Australian date format) are converted to US format (MM/DD/YYYY) when imported via a server side script.

Importing the same file using FileMaker Pro v11 client on the same server results in the dates being imported correctly (DD/MM/YYYY)

Steps to reproduce the problem

1.Generate CSV file with date column with date values in DD/MM/YYYY format.

2. Create server side script to import this CSV file into hosted database

3. Records are imported but DD/MM/YYYY are converted to MM/DD/YYYY dates

Expected result

Dates should be in the DD/MM/YYYY format

Actual result

Dates are in the MM/DD/YYYY format
