      Summary

      FM 10.03 freezes on startup

      Description of the issue

Help!  We have FM 10.03 running on a W2003 terminal server.  It is developing a habit of locking up on the splash page while loading mailit.  After this happens a few times we have to roll back the files to get things back up. Windows server 20032 Dual core athlons6 gig ramVM with vista and FMS error shows a hungapp with no addresses.Any help will be greatly appreciated.

          Thank you for your post.

Please review Knowledge Base Article #6930 for FileMaker Pro system requirements with Terminal Services:

Any other information about mailit would be appreciated.

All of the TS requirements have been met.  I forgot to mention this is a x64 system.

Mailit is a plugin for mail apps.  I have not been able to get any good info on it.

I completely un installed FIlemaker, Bonjour, Java 6.7 and all the plug ins and reinstalled to V2.   This seems to have solved the issue so far.  Could this be a V3 bug?

Thank you for the additional information.

What does the Mailit plug in do?  Please keep in mind that FileMaker Pro 10 does have the ability to send mail via a SMTP server.

It's hard to determine if it is a v3 problem.  No problems have been reported to date with v2 to v3 acting differently (other than fixes).  If you don't install the Mailit plug-in, or if you determine it is no longer needed and uninstall it, does it then work with v3?  That's something you may have to test on your own.

Does anybody else have experience with the Mailit plug-in with FileMaker Pro 10.0v3?
