Summary

FM 12 bug: Color selection in the Inspector

Product

FileMaker Pro

Version

12

Operating system version

10.7.4

Description of the issue

Yet another bug in FileMaker 12.
In layout mode, select an object.
Then go to the Inspector and choose "solid color" underneath fill.
Then, click on the color square beneath that.
FileMaker 12 ONLY SHOWS YOU YOUR SYSTEM'S COLOR PALETTE THERE, WHEN WHAT WE REALLY WANT IS FILEMAKER'S 256-COLOR PALETTE!
However, what makes this absolutely LUDICROUS and RIDICULOUS is that if you click on the "Fill" color square in the TOOLBAR AT THE TOP OF YOUR LAYOUT, you suddenly get FileMaker's 256-color palette with the OPTION of "Other Color...", which then takes you into your system's color palette.
THAT'S HOW IT SHOULD BE EVERYWHERE (i.e. the "inspector")... it should be consistent everywhere.
That's how it should be EVERYWHERE, including the Inspector.
