      Description of the issue

      Might be a coincidence, but I can no longer open FM Pro since the 10.10.5 update. I have removed all non-standard fonts.

      Steps to reproduce the problem

      Open FM Pro.

      Application launches to open file dialog

      Hangs with SWOD

      Configuration information

      Tried removing all non-standard fonts and also did a fresh install.

      Workaround

      Back to vs 13.0.9

          I was unable to reproduce a launch issue with FileMaker Pro 14.0.1 (Advanced) on OS X 10.10.5. I would verify you've followed the steps below for known issues.

           

          1. Make sure FileMaker is completely closed.

          2. Open up "Font Book" and then go to the upper left hand corner of the screen(Beside the little black Apple) and select "File - Restore Standard Fonts". 

          3. Go to Adobe Creative Cloud (if it's installed) and toggle "Type Kit Syncing" ON and then to OFF. Make sure we leave it OFF.

          4. Open FileMaker Pro 14 and see if it crashes.
