Summary

FM12 - Conditional Format: Font colorsetting NONE colors the text white

Product

FileMaker Pro

Version

FM12.0v1

Operating system version

OS X 10.6.8

Description of the issue

I am very happy to see that you can select NONE (transparent) for text color and fill color in the Condition Formatting dialog. Unfortunately, selecting NONE for text color will result in white text, not transparent text.

Steps to reproduce the problem

1. Create a new layout and set the fill color of the body to a color except white or none (e. g. blue).
2. Add a text object to the body with same text: "Sample text". Chose a large font, to make the effect more obvious.
3. Select a fill color (yellow) and text color (red) for the text object.
4. Apply a Conditional Format for the text object:
Formular: TRUE; Text Color: NONE; Fill Color: NONE
5. Switch to Browse mode.

Expected result

I expect to see only the colored body, without any sign of the text object.

Actual result

The fill color of the text object is invisible, but the text color is white.

Workaround

None
