Summary

FM12 color palette and Inspector: missing 120-color palette for Fill Color

Product

FileMaker Pro

Version

12 v1

Operating system version

Mac Lion

Description of the issue

In Layout Mode using Inspector with an object selected, when I choose to pick a Fill color, I am not offered the 120-color palette of squares on Mac Lion. On Windows 7, however, I am. On both platforms, I get the 120-color palette when choosing to pick a Text color with Inspector.

This is only a problem when choosing to add a Fill color with Inspector. It works fine when using the right-click menu.

Steps to reproduce the problem

1. Enter Layout mode and select a field.

2. Attempt to add Solid Color to the Fill.

Expected result

I should see the 120-color palette first.

Actual result

You immediately get the Other Colors box of various tabs.

Configuration information

Mac Lion with all updates.

Workaround

Right-Click on the selected object and use the menu for this. It works fine. It's only a problem with Inspector.
