Summary

FMGO - Local audio file will not play in web viewer - through javascript

Product

FileMaker Go

Version

Go_iPad 1.2.3

Operating system version

iOS 5

Description of the issue

I was an idiot - just before a presentation updated my iPad2 to iOS 5.

It broke a feature where i was exporting an audio file to the Filemaker Go documents.  WebViewer will not play the audio file from Javascript.  However webviewer will play the audio file if you just point to it directly.

This worked fine under iOS 4 and previous version of Filemaker Go.

I am screwed my presentation of my software is on Saturday!!!

Steps to reproduce the problem

I have placed a copy that demonstrates the bug here:
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/12032693/Local%20Audio%20file%20Bug.fp7

I have two pieces of html code
(1) references the local file
(2) references a similar file on the web

The HTML files play the audio file through a javascript function.

Both html files are viewable in web viewer, however only the version with the web link actually works.

I have also included an example of the webviewer pointing directly at the local file.  This works as expected.

Expected result

Web viewer plays audio file when file is local and called by javascript.

Web viewer plays audio file just as though the audio file is hosted on a website.

Actual result

Web viewer does not play audio file when file is local and called by javascript.
