      Summary

FMP 10.0v3 unable to open files in FileVault protected file space with Leopard

      Description of the issue

I am running OS X 10.5.8 and FileMaker 10.0v3.  After turning on FileVault for my user ID (which encrypts my home folder and all its contents) I am not able to open any .fp7 files on my desktop.  I get an error pop-up from FileMaker saying " could not be opened. (Not Found)". If I drag those files to the top level disk (outside my home tree), they open fine.  If I turn off the FileVault feature they open fine.  I have not tried this with other versions of OS X but I thought I should report it in case no-one has run into it before.  It just adds another nail to the coffin of FileVault.  I've decided not to use it for a variety of reasons having nothing to do with FileMaker.
