Summary

FMP 11 Advanced Suddenly Asks for Usernames/Passwords for All My Files

Product

FileMaker Pro

Version

11.0v2

Operating system version

Mac OS X 10.6.5

Description of the issue

I have have been using FMP for years, and this version (FMPA 11.0v2) for several months. Yet, all of a sudden yesterday, I am now asked for login credentials for EVERY file I try to open. These are files that are NOT password protected in any way.

I am able to access these files by using "admin" and a blank password, but don't understand why I am suddenly being asked for credentials.

Steps to reproduce the problem

Open an unprotected .fp7 file in FileMakerPro Advanced 11.0v2.

Expected result

File should open without a username/password dialog, as it has for years.

Actual result

File requires a username/password to open.

Workaround

Username: admin, Password: (blank)
