Thank you for the post.
I am not able to replicate with FileMaker Pro 14.0.1 (Advanced) on my workstation Mac OS X 10.9.5 iMac. To attempt to replicate, I performed the following:
1. File > New Database > “CustomToolbar.fmp12” > Save
2. Entered Browse mode
3. View > Customize Status Toolbar…
I am able to both drag items off and back on the toolbar.
What is the version of Mac OS X?
Does this occur with a brand new database file?
Does this occur in a new user account?
Anything else that may help me replicate?
It occurs with any database I open with Admin credentials.
Thank you for the reply.
Since I cannot replicate in the same environment, we need to determine if the issue is with the user account or the application.
To rule out a corrupt user account, make a new Admin user account, log into the new account, and try to replicate.
If the issue doesn’t replicate, then migrate the user account. If the issue does replicate in the new user, then uninstall and reinstall FileMaker Pro 14.0.1.
Please keep me updated with any progress.
OK, it worked only after uninstalling, then re-installing FileMaker Pro 14.
