This is happening in FM10 on the Mac. When saving PDF. Before the upgrade the script worked perfectly, since the upgrade it crashes every time on multiple macs.
So it does not seem to be an Adobe issue unless FM10 requires an upgrade of adobe.
FileMaker Pro 10 does not require an upgrade of Adobe.
What occurs after your remove the AdobeFntxx.lst file? The next time you execute a Save As PDF, the file will not be found, so a new one will be created. This has handled most of the issues.
I am assuming then, FM9 and FM10 use the same AdobeFntxx.lst file.
If that is the case removing should make no impact, because the script works fine in FM9.
I was able to fix the problem. I created a new subscript that will save the record as a PDF.
This seem to work.
This after modifying the layout, creating a new layout and removing any images, as suggested previously.
During this testing, when save as pdf, the pdf could not be opened with Preview. Preview would say the file was corrupt.
My thinking is that if a script was created lets say in FM8.5 with a Save as PDF step, then the script has a potential of being corrupt. Don't know. But for me creating a new script in FM10 did fix the problem.
