FileMaker Pro 14 is now a 64-bit application, and it may not load the 32-bit plug-ins. Therefore, remove all plug-ins from your database files and then launch FileMaker Pro 14. Does this work?
What plug-ins do you have installed? Check with the manufacturers to see if there is any update. For example, Troi plug-in has just been released for FileMaker Pro 14.
I have updated all my plugins and I no longer am seeing crashing with FMP14 and FMP14A on the Mac
