      Description of the issue

I clicked Server/Save Schedules and Groups... in Google Chrome but it does not save to Downloads folder.  I searched for the file "fms13_settings" and it is not on the server machine.  However, when I perform the same task in MS Explorer 10 it properly saves the document "fms13_settings.settings" in the Documents folder.

      Steps to reproduce the problem

      1. Open SAT in Google Chrome on Windows Server 2008, R2, Service Pack 1.
      2. Click Server/Save Schedules and Groups...

      Expected result

fms13_settings.settings file to the Downloads folder.

      Actual result

no fms13_settings.settings file downloads anywhere on the server.

Exact text of any error message(s) that appear

      No error message given.

      Workaround

Use another browser.  I was successful with MS Explorer 10.

               Thank you for the post.

Using Google Chrome on either Windows or Mac OS X, I am able to successfully saves schedules and groups.

To save schedules and groups, using Google Chrome and the FileMaker Server 13 Admin Console, I performed the following actions:

               1. Clicked "Server" in the top right of the window.

               2. Clicked "Save Schedules and Groups…"

               3. Chrome pop-ups a new window and saves the files to the default download location for Chrome.

From page 24 of the FileMaker Server Help Guide:

"If the pop-up blocker is enabled in your web browser, a pop-up blocker message may display when Admin Console attempts to open a window. For example, you may see a pop- up blocker message when you attempt to open FileMaker Server Help, Start Page, or Technology Tests page, or when you export the Log Viewer contents. Change the browser’s pop-up blocker setting to allow these windows to display."

Are pop-ups being blocked by the browser?
