Summary

FMS 13.0v5 Breaks Shell Scripts

Product

FileMaker Server

Version

13.0v6

Operating system version

Mac OS X Server 10.8.5

Description of the issue

A shell script that had been running fine with FM Server 13.0v4 now fails every time appearing to time-out.  A new test shell script that just does an "exit 0" fails the same way.

Steps to reproduce the problem

Create a shell script stored in the server Scripts folder named test.sh.  The content of the script should be 2 lines:

!#/bin/bash
exit 0

Make sure the permissions on the file allow fmserver to run it.  Create a new schedule that runs this script but include a timeout of 2 minutes and abort the script after the time expires.

Expected result

The script should run without error very quickly.

Actual result

The script runs until the timer forces it to quit and returns an error 10022

Exact text of any error message(s) that appear

"Test Shell Script" aborted; unexpected error. (10022)

Workaround

The script actually does what it is supposed to do but at the end of the script it hangs until forced to quit by the timer setting.  No workaround found so far except to ignore the error.
