Thank you for your post.
Does this occur with all files or just this one file? If just one file, does this occur with one layout or all layouts? If you create a new layout and add a portal, does the issue still occur?
What theme are you using in FileMaker Pro 13?
Any other information you can provide may be helpful.
This is the only file that I have on the FMS 14 install with portals. I don't know about other files but I'll be able to set up a test either tomorrow or Friday.
It the same display occurs in all relevant layouts in this file.
I haven't created a new layout/ new portal recently so I will check this tomorrow or Friday.
I created a custom theme in FMP 13 when I first set up the file.
I did start having a fiddle last week with rejigging that particular style - no success - and stopped in the hope that this new 'quirk' might get fixed in the next updater :-)
All the best,
Thank you for the additional information.
When you have the time to create a new layout, do not use your custom theme. Start with using one of the built-in themes (like Enlightened). Then, add the portal and see if the border is thick. If the border is still thick, then it may be a database file issue. If the border is not thick, then try changing the layout to your custom theme.
Let me know how you progress.
Didn't get to complete tests - web server dropped out - but made progress. (FMPA 13; FMS 14; 10.10.3)
1. new layout, enlighten theme, portal, default style - all good
2. changed theme to custom - problem.
3. Difference: custom theme def incl portal row (otherwise, same as enlighten default I think). Custom portal row def is Solid, -, black (i.e. no point). Default portal row is None, 0, transparent.
Note: custom theme worked in FMS 13, and is also good for FMP/ Go. Will try adjusting portal row def to None/0/Tr tomorrow. Apologies for not being able to complete the tests.
