Thank you for your post.
Terminal does not integrate with FileMaker Server. When you issue the command line:
fmsadmin RUN schedule [SCHEDULE_NUMBER]
... the command is sent to FileMaker Server. Terminal has completed its task and returns to the command line. In the mean time, FileMaker Server will run the schedule, and when it completes, it does not have a way to let Terminal know it is finished.
If you are using Applescript, and you know how long the schedule should take to run, then put in a Delay between the two steps.
Please enter a suggestion (to have command line integration with FileMaker Server) into our Feature Requests web form at:
These suggestions are monitored and read by our Development and Product Management departments where they are discussed and considered for a future release.
As the report issue seems to be the new bug report, I thought the Feedback was the new feature request.
Not really, the Feedback and Feature Request serve different and complimentary purposes. I think it's a good idea to post feature requests to both locations.
Feedback is good for discussion of the idea and this sometimes triggers even better suggestions. It can also motivate others to post the same request to the suggestion form.
The suggestion form loads some kind of data system where the powers that be can see not only what is being requested but how many people are requesting it.
