FMSocket_SL55: FMSocket_SL55@localhost,ErrorCode=430,ErrorMessage=Failed to open event trace file because the file version is not recognised.
Operating system version
Mac OS 10.5.8
Description of the issue
Our server restarted itself over the weekend and when we came in this morning FM server has not been working properly. I have tried stopping and re-starting FMServer through the admin console and although it appears that all services are running, our databases are not being published to the web.
When I look in console this is the error message that pops up:
Monday, November 29, 2010 11:49:03 AM US/Pacific

I tried to stop Tomcat in Terminal using shutdown.sh contained here: /Library/FileMaker\ Server/Web\ Publishing/publishing-engine/cwpe-tomcat/bin
but I got another error message:
sf:~ admin$ /Library/FileMaker\ Server/Web\ Publishing/publishing-engine/cwpe-tomcat/bin/shutdown.sh
Cannot find ../../../../Common/Tomcat/bin/setclasspath.sh
This file is needed to run this program
Does anyone know what these error messages mean or how to fix this problem? Would a re-install of FMServer be the best solution?
