Summary

Gradient in Footer does not Display Correctly in Form View

Product

FileMaker Pro

Version

12.0v1

Operating system version

Mac OS X 10.6.8

Description of the issue

Gradients used in the footer section in Form View do not display correctly when zoom level is greater than 100.  Same gradient displays correctly when in List View or Table View.

Steps to reproduce the problem

1. Add a gradient to a footer in any layout.  Gradient has a narrow section of the lighter color on top, with a wider and darker section on the bottom to produce an effect that looks like a line with a shadow.
2. Enter browse mode.
3. Set zoom level greater than 100%.
4. Switch between Form View, List View, and Table View.

Expected result

Narrow line in lighter color to top of footer, with darker color at bottom of footer.  This would give the appearance of a light-colored dividing line, with a shadow underneath as it gets progressively darker toward the bottom of the footer.

As an example, see the bottom of an iTunes window when you are in the "iTunes DJ".

Actual result

Proper display when in Table View and List View.

Form view is very different in appearance than the other view.  The lighter color at the top of the footer is very wide.  It's as if the zoom level was applied to this in a different proportion than the other views.

Exact text of any error message(s) that appear

None.

Workaround

None that I have found except returning zoom level to 100%.
