Summary

Handling of carriage return in FMP 10 is a BIG BUG

Description of the issue

I am working for over a decade with FMP and recently went from 8.5 advanced to 10 and that was a bad surprise: this time a big BUG: the carrriage return sign as presented in the scriptmaker menu is NOT recognized as such.Several frequent stripping routines in my databases  have to be reworked because of this stupid mistake.I have seen it reported here in 2008, I bought Filemaker 10 in 2009 July and the bug still is NOT out. No one has to copy an invisible carriage return/hard return from a text to paste it in the code, or have a special (global or related) field with such an empty looking hard return being addressed. This should not happen with a not so cheap long standing product.
